GARDN Joins the Organizing Committee of AERO 2017 and ANERS Events
The Green Aviation Research & Development Network (GARDN) is proud to sit on the organizing committees of the AERO 2017 conference of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI), as well as of the Aircraft Noise and Emissions Reduction Symposium (ANERS) 2017 of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
GARDN’s Executive Director, Sylvain Cofsky, is involved in organizing this year’s ANERS. Preceded by the Aviation Sustainability Center (ASCENT) meeting, this major event is a forum for several green aviation authorities from the US, Europe and elsewhere. GARDN’s involvement speaks to Canada’s participation in the green aviation technology community and is a golden opportunity to promote GARDN’s results. Furthermore, GARDN will be part of a panel on international research networks.
For the AERO 2017 conference, CASI is planning poster presentations, during which GARDN and the Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation in Canada will have a chance to showcase some of their research projects. Mr. Cofsky is very pleased that CASI, Canada’s only learned society in aeronautics, is hosting this activity: “It’s an excellent platform to promote our project findings.”
ANERS 2017 will take place in Virginia, from April 19 to 21, 2017. CASI’s AERO 2017 conference will be held in Toronto from May 16 to 18, 2017.
