GARDN II’s third round welcomes a new research project
A new research and development project will enter the third round of GARDN II, joining the other three projects approved on April 11, 2016 by the Board of Directors.
The mission of this research project — called “Civil Aviation Alternate Fuel Contrail and Emissions Research (CAAFCER)” — is to enhance the T33 aircraft emissions instrumentation. Waterfall Group, the team behind the project, will work with Air Canada, SkyNRG, University of Alberta, National Research Council of Canada’s Flight Research Laboratory and Argonaut Scientific Corporation.
The GARDN II program now includes 16 collaborative research projects, ranging from 2014 to 2019.
